Unheard is a music series exploring listening, curiosity, and spontaneity through collaborative improvisation. Each season, an artist-in-residence leads three in-the-round performances with rotating multi-instrumentalists.
For his first edition of the season, saxophonist and composer Emilio Modeste (INSTANT ALTER, Kassa Overall, Stanley Clarke) brings together D.C.-rooted bassist Rahsaan Carter, and New Orleans drummer Brian Richburg Jr.
Unheard will be held in a private loft in Greenpoint featuring a vintage 4-point Klipsch sound system and comfortable seating arrangements.
